Projects

Cottage - Dorset

This quaint early 20th-century cottage, set within the Dorset countryside, was thoughtfully reimagined alongside a contemporary extension designed to enhance both light and connection to the surrounding landscape. The project centred on achieving a seamless dialogue between old and new, respecting the character and charm of the original home while introducing a calm, modern and contemporary style that feels entirely at ease in its rural setting.

Beach House - Dorset

Perched on the Jurassic coastline, this once-neglected beach house was in need of renewed care and attention. Muted tones and natural materials were used to create a calm, cohesive flow throughout the interior, extending seamlessly into the surrounding landscape. A layered palette of textures adds depth and warmth, while crisp, clean lines ensure the focus remains on the natural beauty of the coastline just beyond the windows.

Shower Room - Devon

What was once a cupboard housing the boiler has been thoughtfully transformed into a beautifully considered shower room, proving that even the smallest spaces can combine practicality with elegance.

Thoughtful planning ensures every inch is used without the room feeling confined, while a soft, tonal palette and subtly textured tiling envelop the walls, resulting in a space that is both calm and sophisticated.

Guest Bathroom - Oxford

The space draws inspiration from Moroccan design, with warm, earthy tones and layered textures that bring depth and character, preventing the room from feeling cold or clinical. Creating a welcoming atmosphere was key; this is a bathroom designed to feel inviting and considered, balancing everyday practicality with a sense of beauty and quiet luxury.

Living Room - Dorset

Set just moments from the shoreline in Burton Bradstock, this much-loved Dorset home was ready for a thoughtful refresh that would better reflect its coastal setting while enhancing comfort for everyday living. The brief was clear: to introduce a sense of relaxed seaside living without leaning into predictable nautical themes, creating a home that felt timeless, understated, and deeply connected to its surroundings.

Ensuite - Oxford

The design prioritises modern simplicity and effortless function, with clean lines and careful planning that elevate everyday routines into an elegant experience. The layout has been reworked to maximise both comfort and spatial harmony, resulting in a refined ensuite that feels both calm and contemporary

Shower room - Clifton

Tucked within a Georgian apartment in Clifton, this Shower Room showcases how thoughtful design can completely transform a narrow, under‑utilised bathroom into a striking and practical space. The original bath was removed and replaced with a full‑width shower enclosure that makes the most of the room’s natural light, instantly creating a brighter, more open feel.

At its core, the Mallabones project was about more than aesthetics; it was an opportunity to reinvigorate community spirit and breathe new life into a much-loved village hub. A once tired, underused hall has been transformed into a stylish yet welcoming café and event space, where contemporary design sits comfortably alongside the building’s heritage. Removing the suspended ceiling revealed the original structure, rich in character, which went on to inform the design direction throughout the space.

Cafe & Event Space - Somerset

Office, Bournemouth

This project was delivered as a charitable donation, enabling the refurbishment of an office within a homeless shelter. Working to a tight budget meant creativity was essential, with thoughtful design choices allowing every element to work harder and the budget to stretch further. It was important that the space felt professional and functional, while also being comfortable and welcoming. A calm, supportive environment for staff who work long hours in often stressful circumstances.
